The College of the Sequoias Student Senate made a splash this year with its 2nd Annual Spring Gala, hosted at the beautiful Porter Field House on the Visalia Campus. Themed "Under the Sea," the event brought students, staff, and guests together for a magical evening filled with color, music, dancing, and unforgettable memories.
Transforming the Venue
The venue was transformed into an ocean-inspired wonderland. It featured stunning decorations that captured the elegance and mystery of the deep sea. From glowing coral centerpieces to soft blue lighting, every detail was carefully curated. This setup truly transported guests into an underwater celebration.
A Night of Delicious Food and Entertainment
The night featured delicious food, great company, and nonstop entertainment. DJ Brett Kennedy of Platinum Sounds kept the energy high. He played a perfect mix of music that had everyone on the dance floor, dancing the night away.
360 Photo Booth Shines
Adding even more fun to the evening were the interactive photo experiences. Guests captured memories with the traditional photo booth provided by Platinum Sounds. They also let loose on **Nu-Clear Vision Media’s 360 Photo Booth** — a huge hit throughout the night. Students showed off their best moves, twirls, and poses, all recorded in stunning 360-degree fashion. These interactive moments were a highlight of the evening and a perfect way to remember such a vibrant celebration.
Giving Back with Purpose
Not only was the night filled with fun, but it was also filled with purpose. Proceeds from the event were donated to support Habitat for Humanity's wildfire relief efforts in Los Angeles. This initiative proved that the COS community knows how to party with heart. Giving back while coming together made this event even more meaningful.
By participating in this event, attendees helped make a difference while enjoying themselves. This spirit of community is what drives the essence of the COS Student Senate.
